AI Engineering
An advanced extension of programming education. Build on strong coding fundamentals, then learn to think, build, and ship in a world where AI handles much of the foundational work — designing systems at a high level and directing AI tools with precision.

About This Program
AI Engineering is an advanced extension of programming education. Building on solid coding fundamentals developed through traditional programming courses, this program trains students to think, build, and ship in a world where AI handles much of the foundational coding work. Students learn to design systems at a high level — frontend, backend, database, deployment — and to direct AI tools to execute on those designs with precision, allowing their programming skills to collaborate with AI for greater impact.
By the end of all three levels, students will have deployed multiple complete applications, trained custom AI models, and pitched a revenue-generating product.
Program Structure
Three progressive levels. Each level has a clear theme, stack, and capstone deliverable.
School Management App
Learn the full-stack mental model: frontend, backend, database, deployment. Build with HTML/CSS, Tailwind, Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase. Ship a working app with student/class/teacher management, live data, and real authentication.
Deliverable: a fully deployed school management web app with a GitHub portfolio.
Focus areas
- HTML & CSS & Tailwind
- Next.js & TypeScript
- Supabase (data & auth)
- Deployment & real authentication

Founded Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink
"When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor."
Mark Zuckerberg
Started coding at 12
Founded Facebook at 19
"The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that is changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks."
Bill Gates
Started coding at 13
Founded Microsoft at 20
"It's fine to celebrate success, but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure."
Steve Jobs
Started coding at 14
Founded Apple at 21
"Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower."
How the track progresses
Each level deepens your ability to own the full stack, integrate AI, and bring products to real users.
Level 1: Full-stack foundations
End-to-end web app, database, and deployment with a school operations theme — portfolio-ready and live.
Level 2: AI product & business
OpenAI-powered SaaS with subscriptions, analytics, and growth — like a real startup in miniature.
Level 3: AI startup & pitch
Revenue, growth, and a pitch you could take to an incubator or early investor conversation.
Cumulative outcome
Multiple shipped apps, hands-on with AI and payments, and a defensible line of work for college and career.
